Local Colour: Ghosts, Variations
In Edit Mode Press, 2012, Malmö (S)
I colaborated with Andy Prior on a project Ghost Machine which is our response to the invitation to contribute work to LOCAL COLOUR: Ghosts, variations
LOCAL COLOUR : Ghosts, variations is a collaboration between In Edit Mode Press and Canadian poet Derek Beaulieu. The publication takes as its point of departure, Paul Auster’s novella Ghosts, and, in particular, Derek Beaulieu’s reworking of Auster’s text, Local Colour. The publication collects and counterposes a wide array of strategies and approaches. It features both textual and aural contributions and contributions that combine text and sound. We hope it will prove an ambitious, vigorous collection that oscillates and moves between textual narrative, graphical mark, and aural impression, exploring these different realms whilst rendering uncertain any easy distinction between them.

in/compatible research, reSource Methods, transmediale festival
31January - 5 February, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin( DE)
transmediale 2012 is an in/compatible being. Incompatibility is the condition that arises when things are not working together. With transmediale 2012, we are investigating the productive and destructive sides of incompatibility as a fundamental condition for cultural production in times of crisis. In this context transmediale 2012 calls for a transversal approach. With our theme in/compatible we are acknowledging that there is equally the need for creative hacks and modifications, as there is a need for a refusal of the quick re-integration into business as usual.
I will have a pleasure to take part in the reSource Methods symposium, part of the transmediale festival programme, discussing in/compatible research practices with Robert Jackson, Andrew Prior, Morten Riis, Carolin Wiedemann, Marie Thompson, Nina Wenhart, Magnus Lawrie, Christian Ulrik Andersen, Tatiana Bazzichelli, Geoff Cox, Thomas Bjoernsten Kristensen, Rosa Menkman, Gabriel Menotti, Lasse Scherffing, Matthias Tarasiewicz, Baruch Gottlieb, Morten Breinbjerg, Zach Blas.
